Equip aims to train and equip Christians from South Australian Churches and Christian organisations of any denomination for ministry and mission.

Open to all, but eagerly supported by the evangelical network across South Australia, providing a greater breadth and depth of training than any one church could produce by itself.

Equip is a ministry of EFAC – SA which aims to maintain and promote a strong Biblical witness through Churches in SA to advance the cause of the gospel.

There are minimum and maximum numbers for each subject so pre-registration is necessary! Registrations close Monday 24th June. Morning tea is provided.

There is talk about identity politics, victimhood, micro-aggressions, and safespaces. Where did this come from? What does it mean for us as Christians? How might we respond? What resources does the gospel give us as we seek to “serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven” sharing the changeless gospel to a changing world?
About Cameron: Cameron Munro is currently pastoring Trinity church Brighton. He is married to Karen and they have four children. He became a follower of Jesus around the age of 13 through the ministry of a Christian teacher at school and Crusader union. Cameron passionate for God’s word to shape our thinking and our living for Jesus in a world changing world

About: Over the two sessions Mike will help us look at principles that are helpful in answering tough questions about Christianity. You will also get to consider specific answers to some of the commonly asked questions.
About Mike: Mike is currently pastoring the Anglican congregation at St Georges Magill, he has been involved in Uni ministry and has had a long term passion for answering tough questions.

About: Over the last 9 years Carole and Dianne have been part of building the capacity of people within their church to create public displays during Christmas and Easter to proclaim the gospel to the wider community. Come and they will help you to:
  • find out what their church has done
  • plan to create public ministry opportunities in your local community
  • have a go at building, constructing, decorating or designing some public display for Christmas, so you could teach others in your church.

About: Small group Bible studies are key to flourishing Christ centred communities. This workshop will cover qualities required in Christian leadership, the goals of small group Bible studies, starting and developing a group, caring for group members, and growing maturity and prayer life. There will also be an introduction to simple Bible study methods that can be used in a small group Bible study.
About Tamra: Tamra Purton has been training small group leaders for over 10 years and is passionate about proclaiming Christ faithfully to the nations. She is a mum of 2 young girls, wife of an amazing husband, engaged in her local church, a director on a few boards, serves with BSF and AFES and in her spare time drinks lots of almond lattes.

Equip Mini June 2019 will be held at St. Matthews Kensington, 146 Kensington Rd, Marryatville.

Parking is available at the rear of the church or in the surrounding streets.

St. Matthews Kensington can be reached by public transport either via the Adelaide Metro 141 or 142 Buses to Stop 8 Kensington Rd.
